Nowadays, there are so many options other than ceramic and hardwood flooring. For my upcoming kitchen renovation I am considering between two types of flooring.
The first option is VINYL Plank Flooring.
Vinyl Flooring |
Vinyl flooring is a variant of linoleum. Thicker and more resilient, comes in tile and wood plank looks. Water-proof and very ideal for high-traffic areas including Kitchen and bathroom. Not exactly as cheap as linoleum but pretty reasonable at around $4-5/square foot.
Here are some that I am considering...
CORETEC Kingswood Oak |
MOHAWK Noblesse Toasted Walnut |
LINKWERKS Acacia Plank |
LINNKWERKS Rapid Clic |
As you can see, I'm considering dark brown colors so that the transition form my hardwood to kitchen won't be so drastic.
The other flooring we are considering is LAMINATE.
SOURCE |
TIMELESS DESIGNS Sienna |
TIMELESS DESIGNS Espresso |
MOHAWK Bourbon Bayview Hickory |
Rustique Aged Carob Oak planks |
It runs around $3-5/square foot, very durable and scratch-resistant, but may have trouble with standing water.
So, what do you think? What kind of flooring do you have in your kitchen?
Are you happy with it? If not, what would you change it too?
Would love to hear your thoughts! Please share away...
Have A Great Day!!!
